    Christy Alexander Hallberg is a Teaching Associate Professor of English at East Carolina University, where she earned her BS and MA in English. She received her MFA in Creative Writing from Goddard College. In addition to her teaching duties, she serves as an assistant editor for North Carolina Literary Review. Her work has appeared in such journals as Main Street Rag and North Carolina Literary Review. Her creative nonfiction essay on the death of Prince, “Electric Word Life,” is forthcoming in Concho River Review. She recently finished her memoir, Searching for Jimmy Page, and is now working on a novel.
