Paul Griner was born in Boston. He is the author of two novels,The German Woman and Collectors, as well as the story collection Follow Me. A graduate of the University of New Hampshire and of Harvard, Griner received his MA in creative writing at Syracuse and was a Fulbright Scholar to Portugal. He is professor of English and the director of creative writing at the University of Louisville.
